Springs Window Fashions Offers Virtual Decorator Using Scene7 Platform
Novato, CA Scene7, the leading provider of dynamic
imaging software, today announced the launch of a Virtual Window Treatment
Decorator on Springs Window Fashions websites (www.graberblinds.com
and www.baliblinds.com).
Springs Window Fashions LP, one of the nation's leading window treatment
manufacturers, will use the online decorator to allow consumers and
retailers to design and visualize the Graber and Bali product lines
in interactive room scenes. Users can choose from six different room
vignettes within either the Graber® or Bali® Virtual Decorator,
then select a window treatment type, including cellular, wood or vertical
blinds. Using Scene7's proprietary dynamic layering feature, the treatment
automatically layers into the room scene in perfect photo-quality.
Users narrow their treatment options by selecting colors, privacy
level and style preference. To create a personalized look around their
window treatments, users can decorate with complementary items and
details within the room scene, such as walls, floors, furniture, accessories
and trim. Springs believes this tool will drive sales by shortening
the sales cycle while helping customers better research and visualize
their custom choices. "Our Virtual Decorator for Bali
and Graber will allow our customers to better educate themselves when
purchasing window treatments all from the convenience of their
homes. Customers then visit their favorite decorator, designer, or
retailer to view actual samples and make their purchase." said
George Egon, Vice President Brand Marketing, Springs Window Fashions.
"The feedback on our Virtual Decorator has been extremely positive
from consumers and designers/decorators alike. And we plan to add
more product lines throughout 2003." Virtual Window
Treatment Decorator
The Virtual Decorator uses Scene7's leading Infinite Imaging platform.
Utilizing a single, master photograph such as a room scene, the imaging
platform automatically composites together other decor images, such
as window treatments, fabrics, cabinets, wallpaper, and paint, to
create infinite variations -- all in photo-real quality. These dynamically
created images allow companies such as Springs Window Fashions to
present their entire product line with all options while avoiding
the need for additional expensive photography. "We are pleased
to be partnering with Springs Window Fashions." states Doug Mack,
CEO of Scene7. "As a leader in the window treatment industry,
Spring's Virtual Decorator is the industry's first visual, interactive
tool to help customers better educate themselves in the decision-making
process." About Springs Window Fashions LP
