SALES DEVELOPMENT REP

Scene7 (www.Scene7.com) is seeking a Sales Development Rep to be a key contributor to the company’s growth. We are a leading and rapidly growing software vendor in the rich media solution platform space so you will need to have an understanding and interest in enterprise level infrastructure.
Your job will be to initiate contact, determine and create interest, and team with our outside sales force to coordinate the sales process. You will leverage the telephone to identify and set up appointments with key buying influencers in complex organizations to drive revenue with new and existing accounts. Lead generation efforts include uncovering potential projects, qualifying prospects, identifying decision-making process and current operating environment, providing materials and setting up sales meetings.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Generate leads by (cold calling, lead generation activities, networking, etc)
2. Make appointments with key decision makers for sales reps who are out in the field.
3. Handle all inbound inquiries generated from Demand Creation activities such as advertising and web seminars
4. Maintain and update account/lead database.
5. Provide first hand feedback and recommendations on our marketing efforts based on direct experiences with customers and potential clients.
To be successful, you will need the following:
Must be capable of relationship development, opportunity identification and pipeline tracking and building. |

BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. |

3-5 Years of experience in a sales oriented environment in the software industry. |

|
The ability to "solution sell" rather than sell a product. |
| · |
|
Possess or be willing to develop a solid skill set in calling on ‘C’ level decision makers. |

|
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. |
| · |
|
Strong sales process, analytical orientation with attention to metrics. |

|
Must be a team player; results oriented. Coordination with the outside sales team is critical to success. |

|
Must be tenacious and success-oriented, a self-starter with high energy. |
| · |
|
Strong telephone and web-based demonstration skills required. |
